Our courses are provided as SCORM packages, ready to upload into your Learning Management System (LMS) so learners can access the content and you can track progress.
This page explains what you’ll receive, how to use the files, and what to expect once they’re live.
While every LMS looks slightly different, the process is broadly the same.
Log into your LMS with administrator or course manager access
Navigate to the course or content upload area
Select the option to upload SCORM content
Upload the ZIP file (do not extract it)
Save and publish the course
Once published, learners should be able to launch the course from within the LMS.
SCORM is a widely used e-learning standard that allows learning content to work consistently across most LMS platforms.
Using SCORM means your LMS can:
Launch the course correctly
Track learner progress and completion
Record scores and time spent (where applicable)
If your organisation uses an LMS, it is very likely SCORM-compatible.
When you purchase a course, you’ll receive:
A SCORM ZIP file containing the full course
A file that is ready to upload straight into your LMS
No additional software or setup required
Please note:
The ZIP file should not be unzipped. Your LMS needs the file exactly as provided.
Before you begin, make sure that:
You have permission to upload courses to your LMS
Your LMS supports the SCORM version listed on the product page.
You are launching the course in the live learner environment, not preview mode
If you’re unsure about any of the above, your internal LMS or IT support team should be able to advise.
We provide test SCORM files so you can confirm compatibility with your LMS before purchasing.
These test files allow you to:
Upload a SCORM package into your LMS
Launch the course as a learner
Confirm basic tracking and completion behaviour
Using a test file is the best way to check that your LMS supports SCORM uploads and launches courses as expected.
The test files are supplied in the same format as our paid courses and should be uploaded in exactly the same way.
Please note:
Test files are for compatibility checking only and do not contain full course content.

Our SCORM courses use standard tracking methods supported by most LMS platforms.
Depending on the course, your LMS may record:
Completion status
Time spent in the course
Quiz results or pass/fail status
Completion is usually triggered when the learner reaches the end of the course or meets the defined completion criteria. How this information is displayed depends on your LMS reporting settings.
The course opens but doesn’t track progress
This often happens when the course is launched in preview mode instead of the live learner view.
The course won’t upload
Check that you are uploading the ZIP file itself, not the files inside it.
I downloaded the file but can’t open it
SCORM files must be uploaded into an LMS. They are not designed to be opened like videos or documents.
Completion doesn’t behave as expected
Different LMS platforms handle SCORM data slightly differently. Completion rules are controlled within your LMS.
We’re happy to help with:
Issues relating to the SCORM file itself
File delivery or integrity
Confirming SCORM versions and expected behaviour
We’re unable to support:
LMS-specific configuration or permissions
Organisation-specific LMS setups
IT, browser, or network-related restrictions
These are best managed by your internal LMS or IT team.
If you’re not certain whether a SCORM file is right for your setup, we recommend:
Checking with your LMS administrator
Confirming that your LMS supports SCORM uploads
Ensuring you have the ability to upload and launch SCORM courses
SCORM is a well-established standard and works reliably in most modern learning platforms.
